Nitric Oxide is manufactured by the body and is significant specifically for its key role in blood circulation within the body, regulating vasodilation, mitochondrial respiration and for delivering messages between the body’s cells. Production of nitric oxide is increased when we exercise. Its primary benefit, in terms of exercise and performance, is that it causes vasodilation, an expansion of the internal diameter of blood vessels, which then promotes increased blood flow, generating an increase in oxygen and essential nutrients to the muscles, prompting growth and bulk.
Nitric Oxide also affects the release of testosterone and adrenaline, speeding growth as well as aiding recovery time of muscles. Quite simply put, nitric oxide increases the body’s potential for swifter muscle mass gain and effective recovery post workout.
The amino acids – L-Arginine & L-Citrulline are pre-cursors to nitric oxide production. These amino acids promote the ultimate nitric oxide production, enhancing an increase in blood flow pumping valuable oxygen and nutrients to muscles helping them grow. Additionally, they facilitate the removal of exercise-induced lactic acid build-up which in turn reduces fatigue during your workout so that endurance and performance are boosted and post workout muscle recovery is faster and more effective.
This supplement does things that other bodybuilding supplements simply can’t by working on two fronts: First, it feeds the muscles with increased levels of oxygen and nutrients promoting faster muscle growth. Second, it sustains energy levels during workout, so you can workout for longer plus it aids recovery of the muscle post workout.
Unfortunately, no. Many fly-by-night companies just ride these trends, manufacturing inferior products with the wrong ingredients and proportions. They often use cheap fillers and binders that can block the desired effects of nitric oxide.
From our research, a quality nitric oxide supplement should not cause any interference with other medications or conditions. However, we still recommend consulting with a physician if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, or take medications on a regular basis.
Workout Days: Take 3 capsules 30 minutes before working out (optional to also take 3 capsules in the morning). Non-Workout Days: Take 3 capsules with breakfast (optional to also take 3 capsules at dinner). As with any type of supplement, you should not exceed the daily dosage recommendations since this can pose health risks.
Some customers we spoke to reported seeing results in as little as one week. For others, it took about a month. Results also seem to be a bit different for each person. Some show unbelievable change right away, while others don’t bulk up as fast. Many of the reputable brands we reviewed offer refunds to customers who don’t see the results they want in any time frame.
The cost of nitric oxide varies based on the manufacturer. Many of them are worthless, just random companies with cheap quality products trying to cash in on the trend. Some of these companies sell their supplements for as much as $100 per bottle, which we think is a bit too high. Most of the really good supplements we tested fell in the $40-$50 range. Others may appear cheaper, but they often boast a one-month supply when they’re really giving you half the recommended dosage with plenty of fillers and binders.
Each person will see different results with different products, so it’s hard to say offhand which is best. However, we particularly liked Research Verified Nitric Oxide. We found it to be the best of the 40+ products we researched, based on the product quality, customer feedback, and the company’s customer service.
You can experiment to see which product is right for you, but if you’re looking for a well-reviewed product you can count on, we think you’ll love Research Verified Nitric Oxide, a high-quality product at a fair price.
