Momentous Brain Drive Review

Momentous sells a range of products, a fair number of which target brain health. Out of those products, we felt this one was the most promising. Momentous Brain Drive includes some excellent ingredients, including Bacopa monnieri and four B vitamins. They are third-party tested as well as free of GMOs and gluten. They claim to boost cognitive performance, promote long-term brain health, and increase productivity. Our main concern is that they don’t include all the ingredients necessary to achieve this. Additionally, the product page mentions a 60-day guarantee but when we went on to read their return policy it was for 30 days only, which we found rather untrustworthy. Continue reading to see if this product is worth your money.

Is Momentous Brain Drive Effective?

The main ingredients in this formula are B vitamins (B3, B6, B9, and B12), L-carnitine, Bacopa Monnieri, and L-tyrosine. L-carnitine is sometimes used for Alzheimer disease and improving memory, but there is no substantial scientific evidence to back this up. L-tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid, meaning that the body is capable of producing it from other amino acids. It helps protect neurotransmitters and may help improve memory under stress. B3 is important for producing energy in brain tissue and B6 may help with brain function by lowering levels of homocysteine (high levels have been linked with a higher incidence of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and cognitive decline). B9 (also known as folate) and B12 have been shown to slow down age-related memory and cognitive decline. Finally, Bacopa Monnieri can help repair damaged nerve cells and improve nerve impulse transmission.

It’s unfortunate that vitamins B1 and B2 were not included with the others, as they are both necessary for brain health and energy production in the brain. Additionally, the amounts of B vitamins in this formula, as well as the dose of Bacopa Monnieri, were lower than we would have hoped, and significantly lower than our top choice. Some more ingredients that were missing for us were lion’s mane mushroom, phosphatidylserine, and alpha GPC, which have been shown to help improve memory, cognition, and brain health. We would also have liked to see the use of a thermogenic enhancer such as BioPerine® to improve the results.

We were initially happy to see that this product boasts a 60-day money-back guarantee. However, after investigating the return policy further, it seems that there is only a 30 day guarantee. This seems quite misleading and frankly, a bit sketchy. This product is also not certified vegan or cruelty free. Aside from the damage to animals and the environment, this is generally regarded as less safe than animal-friendly products.

The bottom line is that this product may be good, but it could be better. With more essential ingredients and larger doses, as well as a bioenhancer such as BioPerine®, this supplement may have been a contender for the top choice. However, until it addresses our concerns, it remains at #2.

Is Momentous Brain Drive Safe?

We did not find any ingredients in this product that would cause it to be harmful. However, it is always recommended to consult with a doctor before taking any new supplement, especially if you have any other health conditions, take any medications, are pregnant or nursing. It is also worth noting that this product is not vegan.

Summary

Momentous Brain Drive only partially lived up to our expectations. We liked that it is third-party tested, non-GMO and gluten-free. We appreciate that the formula included four B vitamins and Bacopa Monnieri; however, the low doses and lack of certain additional ingredients were disappointing. The confusion surrounding the return policy and the fact that we didn’t find vegan-friendly or cruelty-free certifications were also definitely downers. We think that this has the potential to be a great product, but some improvements must be made for it to qualify for our #1 spot.
