KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Core Cream Review

KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Core Cream is our #3 pick. This popular Korean skincare brand uses a three-element salmon complex in it’s ingredients for maximal skincare effectiveness. There are a few issues with this product, however. Firstly, there are zero patented ingredients in the formula. The website makes the salmon complex look like an official patented ingredient, but there are no links to any studies or proof of patent anywhere. The website is missing a full list of ingredients, so we have no reference to know which inactive ingredients may be contained in the cream. Additionally, there is no money back guarantee in sight. Nevertheless there were several positive elements that we felt were worthy of further review.

Is KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Core Cream Effective?

The only ingredients listed on the site are the three-part salmon complex, and the fermented Jeju oil. The Jeju oil is harvested from an island on the southern tip of South Korea, and contains elements that are great for skin moisturization and line smoothing. The salmon complex contains three elements: salmon PDRN, salmon collagen, and salmon proteoglycan. The salmon sperm extract PDRN is great for skin regeneration and smoothing. The proteoglycan is also proven to have anti-aging effects. The issue with this ingredient, is that the proper way to get the full anti-aging benefit is through ingestion, as opposed to applying it directly on the skin, which mostly negates its regenerative effects.

For us, the salmon collagen is our biggest issue with this complex. When ingested, marine collagen supplementation is reportedly beneficial for wrinkle treatment. However, when applied to the skin the collagen molecules are too large to penetrate the epidermal layer without being further broken down through the use of peptides. With anti-wrinkle care products, we usually look for products that stimulate endogenous collagen production as opposed to the topical application of this important ingredient.

KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Core Cream might have a little bit more luck with effectiveness if they included ingredients that worked to their fullest extent when applied as a cream. It does seem that the cream could be used as an advanced form of general moisturizer, but most of the anti-wrinkle benefits that the website claims are fairly irrelevant.

Is KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Core Cream Safe?

The few ingredients that are actually listed on the website are great for skincare products. As far as we can tell, none of them come with any sort of warning for consumers. The biggest issue, however, is not what we do see, but what we don’t. Only the active ingredients are listed, while the rest of them don’t appear anywhere. There are also no disclaimers about the product being paraben, preservative, additive, or binder free - which would most likely be a go-to advertising declaration if it were the case.

Is the KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Core Cream safe? Probably. If the ingredients weren’t listed, it most likely contains chemicals such as parabens and fragrances which most skincare companies have been starting to avoid in the recent past. These chemicals can be damaging to the consumers, whether it’s through hormonal or genetic damage, or by skin irritations and reactions. We also could not find any customer reviews for this item on their website, which normally allows us to get a better feel for the effectiveness of the product. This is certainly a missed opportunity as far as we are concerned.

Summary

KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Core Cream looks to be going in the right direction in terms of having a proper anti-wrinkle product, but still needs to tweak a few things. We did like the salmon complex, as it is a novel product ingredient for skin creams. The Jeju oil as well adds a strong skin hydrating factor. However, the issues that we already pointed out reduce the purchase appeal of this cream, and raises the question of whether it is worth buying. Pricewise, it is on the more expensive side when compared to its peers. Keep in mind that international shipping fees apply to any consumer in the US because this product ships from Korea. The fact that there is no money back guarantee should also be a cause to think before buying the #3 product on our list.
