By Terry Hyaluronic Global Face Cream Review

Boasting 8 different forms of Hyaluronic Acid in different molecular weights, By Terry Hyaluronic Global Face Cream seems like a product to be taken seriously. Paired together with Niacinamide, we were intrigued to delve into what more this formidable formula had to offer. While 8 different types of Hyaluronic Acid seems impressive, we couldn’t help but wonder why the manufacturer solely focused on Hyaluronic Acid instead of adding complementary ingredients such as Jojoba oil and Retinol which are known to work synergistically with Hyaluronic Acid to trap moisture, help regenerate cells for new growth and boost collagen production.

Is By Terry Hyaluronic Global Face Cream Effective?

Offering a Hyaluronic Acid cream with 8 different types of Hyaluronic Acid is brazen, bordering on audacious. The main issue we have with this is that when a cream relies solely on Hyaluronic Acid, it can have the reverse effect of what it’s meant to do. Hyaluronic Acid traps in moisture to create a hydrated, plumped up look for a healthier, smoother appearance. However, the water that the Hyaluronic Acid holds, has to come from somewhere. If a cream only contains Hyaluronic Acid, then this humectant will hold the moisture from the skin, but it means that it is also taking it out of the skin, which ultimately, would leave the skin dry the moment you stop using the cream. For this reason, we look for other ingredients such as Jojoba oil, Retinol and Collagen to ensure something like this doesn’t happen.

Unfortunately we couldn’t find any reviews online either, to find out from real customers whether this product works for them or not. That is often one of the best indications as to a product’s efficacy, and that is missing here. We were also disappointed that there is no satisfaction guarantee offered by the manufacturer, which would make spending over $80 on a product somewhat more feasible.

Is By Terry Hyaluronic Global Face Cream Safe?

This product is manufactured in Europe and has no mention of abiding by cGMP standards. However, the company is a reputable one and all the ingredients appear to be natural and should not cause any side effects.

Summary

While we usually applaud manufacturers who step out of the box, we prefer it when it is based on clinical studies and researched ingredients. 8 different types of Hyaluronic Acid in various molecular weights certainly sounds impressive, offering complete certainty that the Hyaluronic Acid will be effective in trapping the moisture to give you a smoother, plumper appearance. We believe however, that Hyaluronic Acid on its own may only be beneficial in the short-term, for a smoother looking appearance, however in order for it to offer long-term benefits, we believe it should be paired with ingredients such as Retinol, Collagen and Jojoba oil. This formula offers none of these ingredients, nor any complementary oils for that matter. We believe that for the price this manufacturer is asking, the product should be a little more remarkable.
