TUSHMD Hemorrhoid and Constipation Relief Review
TUSHMD fell to the #2 spot when it didn’t quite make our cut as a top supplement. While this product does have some strong points, it failed in our eyes for lacking key ingredients that will contribute to a long-term hemorrhoids healing plan. In addition, a bottle of TUSHMD contains only 30 pills. The manufacturer recommends taking up to 4 tablets daily, which means that a Bottle of TUSHMD may be gone in as little as 8 days.
Is TUSHMD Effective?
While this product does contains Witch Hazel, an important component for shrinking hemorrhoids and restoring healthy circulation, the only other ingredients it contains are Bromelain and Psyllium. While we believe it should be effective for short term relief, and will definitely keep you regular, we are doubtful about the long-term hemorrhoid healing benefits provided by this supplement. In the lab, its ingredients did show consistency with the label claims.
Another strike against this product was the small amount of pills you receive compared to the price. Sometimes, you can see results from a supplement in just a few weeks and other times it can take nearly 6 months to reach and maintain the maximum results. Most other companies will offer 90 or even 120 pill bottle sizes for supplements that require taking a large number of pills a day, which can lower the price per pill by quite a bit. With TUSHMD you’re stuck paying for either 30 or 60 pills at a time, which means that for severe cases of hemorrhoids your bottle will be empty in as little as 1-2 weeks. For a supplement that we are not positive about its long-term benefits, this makes TUSHMD a rather pricey investment.
The main issue here is that TUSHMD is offering an expensive product that contains very few ingredients that are actually effective for hemorrhoid repair. This manufacturer has tweaked the proven formula and it is hard for us to know if this supplement will provide effective results.
Bottom Line: While it is well known that health supplements can work differently for different people, due to each body’s unique metabolism., we are not sure if TUSHMD is effective due to the fact that there are only 3 main ingredients, and only one of them is widely used for long-term hemorrhoid relief.
Is TUSHMD Safe?
We did not find any ingredients in this product that would cause it to be unsafe, such as un-certified stimulant ingredients or other questionable herbs. In general, TUSHMD is deemed to be a safe herbal supplement if taken according to proper recommendations. There are no reported side-effects and it can be taken with most medications.
Our main safety concern is that some people reported experiencing no results, meaning this product might not be as effective as it could be. This may cause consumers to try to take more in order to achieve the results they want. This could end up being dangerous as some of the ingredients that it does contain are quite potent and you should not take more than the recommended daily dose.
Summary
We believe this could be a good product, if it included a few more ingredients to promote long-term hemorrhoid repair and offered a larger quantity of pills per bottle (to lower the cost per pill). But without these we had to place this product in our #3 spot.
