We consider Derman Antigfungal Spray to be a better quality athlete’s foot product because the company uses undecylenic acid as its main ingredient. However, it contains only 10% standardized undecylenic acid, which is less than the recommended standardized 25% that is used in our #1 product. In our eyes, this lowered the value of the product. The upshot is that consumers might need to use it for longer, in order to achieve the same result that a stronger concentration might provide. In addition, it was not apparent from their site that they offer a money back guarantee if the product does not work for you. That said, this product is still relatively decent quality, so we wanted to give you the complete rundown.
Is Derman Antifungal Spray Effective?
hen a product claims to use undecylenic acid as it’s main ingredient, by all means it should be effective. Let us stress, should be. One issue that raises a slight red flag here is that Derman Antifungal Spray contains a lower than optimal concentration of this main ingredient which may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. In the lab however, its ingredients showed consistency with the label claims. Another strike against this product was the fact that it is only offered in one size. Sometimes, you can see results from a treatment in just a month and other times it can take nearly 6 months to get rid of a persistent infection. Most other companies offer multiple package deals for several months’ worth of bottles, which can lower the price per bottle by quite a bit. With Derman Antifungal Spray however, you’re stuck paying the one-bottle price.
Some other elements of this product also were not so straightforward. This product does not contain any essential oils or herbal components to increase antifungal penetration or speed up skin healing.
Derman Antifungal Spray might have a little better luck with effectiveness if they made the potency of their formula just a little stronger and included some additional ingredients to boost its healing effects. They were almost there with a quality product, but not quite.

We did not find any ingredients in this product that would cause it to be unsafe, such as uncertified synthetics or other questionable ingredients. In general, Derman Antifungal Spray is deemed to be a safe treatment if used according to proper recommendations. There are no reported side-effects and it can be taken with most medications.
Our main concern is that this product is not the full recommended strength for undecylenic, so consumers might need to use it for a longer period of time in order to achieve the results they want. That, coupled with the lack of a multi-bottle ordering option might make this product a less cost effective option.

Derman Antifungal Spray had the right idea in making their product with undecylenic acid. However, the lack of additional ingredients to promote absorption and healing in their product and lower strength concentration of undecylenic acid may decrease its effectiveness. The price was pretty competitive compared to others on the market, but we thought it suffered from a lack of a multi-bottle ordering option. Our final say is that this formula would need to be upgraded just a little bit to get a higher grade.
