PureNature Ashwagandha (with Black Pepper)

We placed PureNature Ashwagandha in our #2 spot when it just fell short on several key areas when compared to our top choice. Not to say that it wasn't a close call. Without doubt, this product has some very appealing aspects, but mainly failed to reach the top spot for containing a lower dose of Ashwagandha as well as not containing Ginger, which can significantly boost the positive effects of Ashwagandha. This is a good product but a few tweaks are needed to earn our #1 spot.

Is PureNature Ashwagandha Effective?

While this product does contain organic Ashwagandha with black pepper, it is not the patented form of black pepper which may well not be the most effective. It also was missing something else that can speed up results which our top choice contained - Ginger, which is an ingenious addition. Also, this product only provides 1300 mg of Ashwagandha which falls slightly short of what we had hoped for. Whilst this of course will get great results, they may appear more slowly than with a more potent dosage. We liked the fact that it offers a veggie capsule, which is great for aiding digestion of the Ashwagandha. A veggie capsule is also great news for vegetarians or vegans and those who are allergic or sensitive to gelatin products.

We liked the fact that this product is made in the US in an FDA, cGMP certified lab (as was our top choice product) and that these guys offer a great money back guarantee of one year, again as in our top choice. We think that shows superb confidence in the kind of results that you are likely to experience in their product. We were slightly let down by the 'real' consumer reviews posted on their website which seemed unrealistic and manufactured. We also liked that these guys offer multiple package deals on their website, which can often save consumers a lot of money.

Bottom Line: We were not totally convinced by PureNature Ashwagandha because of the unrealistic reviews we read on their website. We were neither convinced or excited by these and don't think that they gave us any real indication about how this supplement works for consumers and if it is worth spending your hard earned cash on. We would like to have been able to find some reviews on independent websites from people who have used this product to better understand whether it works well or not.

Is PureNature Ashwagandha Safe?

Generally, Ashwagandha is considered a safe herbal supplement if it is taken according to the proper manufacturer's recommendations. It has no reported side effects and can be taken with most medications. That said, we suggest you always check with your healthcare professional to be absolutely sure. If you are pregnant or nursing, you should not take any form of Ashwagandha. Speak to your doctor for more advice.

We always advise that you should stick to the manufacturer's recommended daily dosage and do not take more.

Summary

This is what we call an 'almost there' product. They have used quality Ashwagandha that is organic and comes with black pepper to enhance the speed of results. This manufacturer offers a great year long guarantee and they provide some excellent good value discounts for multiple purchases. Where these guys didn't quite make the cut was in the black pepper they used, they didn't use one that is patented and trademarked. They also didn't add Ginger which can boost great results. Whilst their daily serving of 1300 mg is good, our top choice was better offering a whopping 1500 mg of quality Ashwagandha. We would like to have read some more realistic reviews to give us a better idea of what kind of results people can expect. Overall, this is a good product that is very likely to get some noticeable results. That said, when you can get more for your money with our top choice, this product could leave you wanting. With a few updates, this is a serious contender for the top spot.
