While this product does contain Sodium hyaluronate and peptides, there is no mention of any clinically-proven, tested or patented ingredients. We believe it should be effective but we are not sure because the ingredients have not undergone any in-house or third party testing. Let us stress, they should be tested for quality control, for it to be a quality product. In the lab, its ingredients showed consistency with what was written on the label.

If you are allergic to certain scents, this may not be the right serum for you. However, what gives us serious pause are the parabens which are unfortunately added to this formula. No7's website states that the levels of parabens they have added are approved by the European Commission Scientific Committee. As long as consumers are clearly aware of all the parabens they are putting on their body from various different products, they can do it safely. The problem is when each skincare manufacturer adds a small amount of parabens it can lead to rather high levels of parabens all the while giving consumers a false sense of safety.
