ClearZine fell to the #2 spot when it didn’t quite make our cut as a top supplement. While this product does have some strong points, it failed in our eyes for not containing Vitamin E or Piperine in its formula. In addition, although they advertise a money-back guarantee, it is not easy to obtain and it is unclear if they ever follow through on their offer.
Is ClearZine Effective?
While this product doesn’t contain Vitamin E, Copper or Piperine, we believe it could be effective due to many of the quality ingredients it contains such as Niacinamide, Pantothenic Acid and Zinc. Although, the doses of these ingredients are not as high as is found in our Top Pick. In the lab, its ingredients showed consistency with the label claims which is an important element when it comes to trusting the manufacturer as it shows transparency and no hidden ingredients.
The main issue for us is that ClearZine doesn’t contain Vitamin E, Copper or Piperine. A deficiency of Vitamin E has been shown to cause Acne. The lack of Copper is troubling because whenever Zinc is ingested, it must be coupled with Copper in order to maintain the optimal balance in our bodies. Additionally, Piperine has been proven to speed and maximize the efficacy of supplement ingredients which means without it, the effects are much slower than other similar products. ClearZine's formula is good, but not quite good enough in providing the optimal Acne support.
Bottom Line: We feel that this was the start of a good product. It contains as high a daily serving of Pantothenic Acid as our top pick, however, it does not come close to offering up enough of an effective dose of Niacinamide or Zinc. Additionally, it does not contain Vitamin E, Copper or Piperine. Maybe the reason why ClearZine omitted their label from their website (an unusual practice for a health supplement) is due to the absence of these key ingredients. It was only once we perused the internet, that we were able to find a copy of the specific amounts of each ingredient on a third-party website.
Is ClearZine Safe?
The ingredients in this product, if taken according to proper recommendations, would provide a safe herbal supplement. The manufacturer does not list any side effects and can be taken with most medications. However, several customers experienced hair loss, even once they stopped taking this product. Although there is not yet enough evidence to suggest it is dangerous to ingest, it is something to be aware of before you purchase this product. Since there is no clear money back guarantee, we are hesitant to wholeheartedly recommend purchasing ClearZine.
If you stick with the manufacturer's recommended dosage and stay consistent with its instructions, this may give you the results you are looking for. As it does not contain Piperine to increase absorption and speed up results, people may be tempted to take a more to try speed up the process, we say do not do this. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
ClearZine Review Summary
We liked that it was served in a veggie capsule and that it can be bought on its website, as well as, on Amazon. We believe this could be a good product if they made a few changes. Without a doubt, they should include Piperine in their formula to start with. Another key element would be a clear money back guarantee. Without these, we had no other option than to place this product as our #2 choice.
